Philippa Willis

Philippa is the Director of the Queensland Government Portfolio & Change Management at Emanate Technology. Known for her honest and direct approach, Philippa values open communication, enabling her to efficiently match candidates with the right opportunities and clients with top talent. Her commitment to doing right by people has been the cornerstone of her success and ability to build long-lasting relationships.

Philippa comes with over 20 years’ experience working across both the Brisbane and Melbourne markets, exclusively in the technology and transformation recruitment space. Her experience has seen Philippa partner with some of Australia’s largest organisations to help them to build out great teams and deliver on their organisation objectives.

Philippa takes an honest and direct approach – her candidates and clients are typically very busy people and the more open and direct the conversations, the more effective she can be in finding that perfect next job or that elusive new hire. Having worked in the recruitment industry for a long time, doing the right thing by people is what has allowed Philippa to succeed and build long-lasting relationships.

She would like to say she “likes long walks on the beach and going out with friends” but two small children rule her world currently so it’s mostly trying not to step on lego and cleaning up weetbix! Bangalow (near Byron Bay) is Philippa’s favourite place in the world, and she tries to get down there with her family as often as possible. Philippa is a recent F45 convert and because life is all about balance, she loves a cheeky G&T or glass of rose.
