Peter is the Director of South Australia at Emanate Technology. Specialising in software engineering, Peter is passionate about recruitment and gets great satisfaction in helping businesses struggling to find skilled professionals under high-pressure demands.

Peter hold’s almost 10 years of technology recruitment experience, specialising in software engineering and tech leadership roles. He has proven success in recruiting entire software teams from scratch for start-up businesses and large-scale recruitment projects for some major Australian defence tech suppliers.

Peter truly loves recruitment. He takes great satisfaction in helping businesses that are struggling to find skilled professionals and are under pressure to meet client demands. The overwhelming relief, gratitude, and praise he receives after finding the right candidate—someone who fits both technically and culturally—still gives him the warm and fuzzies.

A passionate sports fan, Peter is completely obsessed with Rugby Union. Having played for 30 years, he’s only ever missed one season and proudly carries game souvenirs in the form of two knee surgeries, two finger surgeries, and dozens of scars.

To unwind, he is an avid gardener with a love for tropical plants, cultivating a small tropical garden at home. He also enjoys games and pub quizzes. One of his most memorable experiences was appearing on the national TV game show Family Feud with Grant Denyer, where his team competed for the full five nights, winning $30,000—though unfortunately, they didn’t take home the car.
