Emanate Technology is proud to partner with a key federal government client in their pursuit of an Agile Delivery Manager. Our client is spearheading a large-scale program aimed at enhancing the moderation of systems crucial to national operations.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to bolster a Multi-Disciplinary Team, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution of deliverables. Collaborating closely with the Product Manager and the wider team, the Delivery Manager will set the tone for success, establishing team cadence, rituals, and priorities. Upholding quality standards is paramount in all product development efforts.
Key Deliverables:

  • Motivate, facilitate collaboration, and maintain team morale.
  • Champion timely and successful project delivery.
  • Proactively eliminate obstacles hindering team progress.
  • Lead inclusive planning sessions and prioritise workloads.
  • Conduct team ceremonies such as stand-up, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Manage resources effectively, including procurement and financial oversight.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Assume accountability for ensuring team delivery excellence.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record of successful delivery within complex digital transformations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in agile methodologies within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong planning and measurement capabilities.
  • Expertise in managing budgets and expenditures within large-scale transformations.
  • Exceptional team building and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in risk management and proactive issue resolution.
  • Evidence-based history of meeting tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Previous experience as an Agile Delivery Manager or Scrum Master, preferably within government.
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Ability to obtain Baseline Clearance is mandatory.
