Join a federal government agency responsible for enhancing Australia’s cyber defences, dedicated to safeguarding the nation against global threats and advancing national interests. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Platform Engineer to play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the agency’s Machine Learning Operations Platform.
- Contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of clients MLOps platforms and infrastructure.
- Contribute to the design, development, and integration of secure, robust, and performant production ML systems.
- Provide guidance to MLOps engineers, software developers, and data scientists on MLOps processes, platforms, and systems.
- Develop and enhance DevSecOps and MLOps pipelines.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong background in Machine Learning, software engineering, or DevOps.
- Experience with Machine Learning production platforms in large organizations.
- Proficiency in MLOps tooling such as MLFlow, KubeFlow, Seldon, Kserve, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
- Expertise in data engineering and data wrangling.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
The ideal candidate should possess experience spanning the entire MLOps lifecycle, encompassing registration, deployment, and monitoring of operational capabilities. The role involves delivering essential platforms and integrations to offer self-service capabilities to Data Scientists. This includes enabling continuous integration, continuous deployment, continuous training, and continuous monitoring.
