Job Details
e2 Cyber are partnering with an Australian Government agency responsible for scientific research to help bolster their Security Uplift Program.
The Role
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will:
- Define business requirements; develop and review existing processes; and create new processes to support operational systems
- Define and develop business, functional, and non-functional requirements for new solutions to be introduced by the program, or for existing solutions to be modified
- Undertake analysis of technical systems and data, and engage technical teams to inform current state analysis
- Create and review documentation to support implemented solutions
- Provide input into and review design artefacts including Detailed and High-Level designs, Solution Overview Documents, and Functional and Non-Functional requirements
- Collate and perform analysis on datasets for solutions discovery, validation of configuration and logging implementations
- Undertake handover and transition of new systems into operational teams
Background and Skills
We are looking for someone that has the following:
- Australian Citizen (no sponsorship will be provided)
- An active Baseline or Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance
- Experience in IT operations or systems administration
- Proven experience delivering enterprise scale technology or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience supporting cyber security/IT hygiene/Essential Eight uplift initiatives
- Knowledge of cyber security compliance frameworks, including ISM and Essential Eight.
- Competent influencing and negotiating skills, coupled with strong self-motivation, drive and initiative
- Solid experience as a business process specialist on large and complex projects
- Strong skills in Process Mapping and Business Process Reengineering
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyse business processes and workflows
- Ability to develop and present project documentation including business cases, transition plans, support plans and processes artifacts
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft 365 (E5 is a plus), Cloud Computing, and Identity and Access Management. Familiarity with Linux OS and MacOS will be an added advantage
