Job Description: Full Stack Node.js Engineer – Design, Build, Deploy, and Run Tech Stacks
Location: Adelaide, Australia (Fully Remote Opportunity)
Salary: Up to $140,000 per annum
About Us: Our client is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in designing, building, deploying eCommerce solutions for national brands. As a Full Stack Node.js Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital landscape for their clients, working within a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement end-to-end tech solutions using Node.js across both front-end and back-end components.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and provide innovative ideas for improving system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop clean and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Build and deploy applications on cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Collaboratively troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring smooth operation and exceptional user experiences.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on Node.js development.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex web applications and APIs.
  • Highly desirable experience developing for CMS and Commerce systems (Sitecore, Umbraco, Kentico, Optimizely, Commerce tools)
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with modern frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Proficiency in back-end development using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results within a remote work setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
