About the Opportunity:
We are excited to represent a leading financial institution, currently seeking a talented Senior Cyber Architect to join their dynamic team.
As the Senior Cyber Architect, you will utilize your expertise in Cybersecurity Architecture and exceptional stakeholder management skills to collaborate with various business units, ensuring that cybersecurity remains a top priority and is well understood.
 
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Acting as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to senior stakeholder groups, including Tech Area Leads, Tribe Leads, and other team members.
• Articulating the cybersecurity aspects of complex designs and translating them into security requirements to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Developing and maintaining reusable cybersecurity architecture and design patterns for seamless integration.
• Reviewing vendor contracts and incorporating relevant security clauses, including those relating to CPS234 compliance.

 
Experience:

• Strong knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity Architecture, with the ability to design, develop, evaluate, and review secure solutions within an Agile environment, ensuring scalability and reusability.
• Cloud Security expertise, particularly in AWS and/or GCP, with experience in complex Hybrid-cloud environments, cloud migrations, exposure evaluations, and strategic cloud pattern development.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of building successful working relationships through education, partnership, and influencing at all levels.
• Familiarity with threat modelling methodologies and a good understanding of common tactics, techniques, and procedures in Agile environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in securing cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Containers, and infrastructure as code deployments.
