About the Role
Our client is currently looking for IT Technicians to join their Shared Services Team. In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for clients, assisting them in optimizing their IT environment. The role involves day-to-day client-facing IT support, both on-site and remotely.
As part of their team, you’ll be managed and guided by the Service Delivery Manager and the Head of Service. They value proactive IT approaches, innovative technology adoption, and a security-focused culture.
- Daily completion of allocated tickets
- First point of contact for technical advice and support
- Identification and recommendation of necessary hardware and software
- Customization of existing programs to meet client’s needs
- Phone, face-to-face, and online client support
- Installation of software for workstations and servers
- Connecting users to networks and cloud-based platforms
- Providing training in facilities and applications
- Enhancement of client relationships by providing responsive, professional service
- Regular reporting to the Head of Service
