Front End Developer

Role: 

As part of the Strategy Execution and Operations team you will be reporting to the Solutions Architecht. Your role involves creating efficient and scalable front-end solutions using Vue 3 and Vite, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring optimal user experience, and continuously improving performance and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop robust, scalable, and efficient front-end solutions using Vue 3 and Vite.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and maintain responsive web interfaces for optimal user experience across devices.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following industry best practices.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and services.
• Conduct testing and debugging to identify and fix performance issues and bugs.
• Stay updated with front-end development trends and advancements.
• Optimise and improve the performance and usability of web applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end related issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Contribute to planning and estimation of development tasks.
• Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Other delegated responsibilities within the scope of the position.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer using Vue 3 and Vite.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
• In-depth understanding of Vue 3, including its Composition API.
• Experience with Vite as a development build tool.
• Familiarity with modern front-end development tools and workflows.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience in integrating front-end interfaces with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and unit testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile practices.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

 
Desirable:  

• Experience in UI/UX design.
• Experience in Responsive Web Development.
• Experience in Kentico CMS.
