As the businesss continues to find success, they are expanding their team in both their Melbourne and Canberra offices. This year promises remarkable growth, and they are seeking talented individuals like you to join them in maintaining the functionality and security of highly complex systems. The company is currently looking to bring on an experienced Junior Data Analyst to support a multi-year Defence program aimed at delivering an enterprise Health Knowledge Management System. This system will empower better clinical decision-making for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Role Details:
In the position of Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing support for critical information management capabilities related to the Health Knowledge Management System. Your primary tasks will involve analyzing existing system data, developing mappings for the desired future state, and assisting with the migration of data to the new solution. Additionally, you will support the Data Team with administrative tasks and contribute to the documentation requirements of the project.
Key tasks include:
- Assisting in the development and execution of the data migration strategy
- Utilizing data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft SQL) to identify and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets, while also improving data quality
- Establishing and maintaining an issues and decision register for data quality, governance, or security matters
- Preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes for working group meetings
- Collaborating with technical subject matter experts to create technical documents
- This role requires the successful candidate to be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum NV1 level Australian security clearance.
Qualifications:
In addition to your Information Management skills, education, and program experience, we are looking for the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience generating high-quality reports using tools such as Microsoft PowerBI, Qlik, and Tableau
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within specified deadlines
- Effective communication skills to present complex data insights concisely
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- (Desirable) Experience working with Agile products such as Jira and Confluence
