Power BI Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Power BI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in transforming our approach to ICT services by designing and implementing Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reporting capabilities for federal government agencies. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the teams cloud capability, improving agility and repeatability, and reducing reliance on legacy systems.
Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports that meet the needs of the client and its stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Implement best practices for data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization within Power BI.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data within Power BI dashboards and reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reporting capabilities for federal government agencies.
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI features and functionalities, including data modeling, DAX expressions, and data visualization techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

On offer is a 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extensions. Please not an active Baseline Clearance is required.
