About You:

As a Wintel Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality development, design, implementation, and documentation of project solutions that meet client requirements.
You will work in a hybrid platform environment, encompassing both on-premises Wintel platforms and Azure Cloud. Your role will be pivotal in enabling change and assisting customers in transitioning to Azure Cloud for relevant components, as outlined in the architectural roadmap.
In a multifaceted customer environment, you will offer advice, guidance, and technical implementation capabilities across multiple projects in your area of expertise. You must have a proven commitment to customer satisfaction, accountability, ownership, and unwavering customer focus.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Engineering skills and experience in a hybrid environment of on-premises Wintel platform and Azure Cloud
• Azure Sentinel security design
• Working knowledge of a broad range of ICT systems such as Cloud, Windows OS, Virtualization, Networking, *NIX, Databases, Middleware, Firewall, Storage, etc., and their interrelations and interoperability
• Detailed working knowledge of specific technology areas within the aforementioned scope
• Ability to design, implement, troubleshoot, support, and upgrade the technologies in which you have detailed working knowledge
• Capacity to provide advice and experience on technical specifics, known issues, and potential pitfalls with technologies in which you have detailed working knowledge
• Understanding and experience of avenues for technical escalation within a company, partner, and vendor ecosystem

Since our clients primarily operate within the government sector, you will need to be an Australian Citizen with a minimum NV1 security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
This role will be based in Canberra.
