Key responsibilities
As the Test Lead, you’ll lead the analysis, planning, preparation and execution of testing for projects and releases and will ensure system and application changes are fit for purpose. You will also participate in the planning, preparation, execution and analysis for the clients and online applications.
As a hands-on leader with broad knowledge in test methodologies and automation development, you will oversee the definition and execution of end-to-end testing strategies, and take accountability for the coverage, scope, and quality of testing of the team. You will also develop in-depth knowledge of business rules, multiple systems and their respective functionality, and a working understanding of test environments.
In this role, you will provide support, mentoring, and professional development for a team of test analysts and be the ‘go-to’ escalation point for testing team issues. You will collaborate with development managers and product owners on sprint planning and provide metrics on testing progress. Additionally, you will work closely with the Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to understand business expectations and constraints, provide regular updates on progress of testing, and actively improve UAT and Regression testing methods and documentation.
 
About you
You will be the driver behind the continual improvement of the testing methodology, test tools, processes, approaches, and techniques. Working with stakeholders, you will provide accurate test estimates, manage the defect management process and tools ensuring the quality of items raised and adherence to the defined defect lifecycle, as well as actively participating in the testing.
