C++ Software Engineer

Emanate Technology have partnered with a global defence leader, who are based in Melbourne, to Source a responsible and highly engaged Software Engineer to join their organisation. Our client’s systems are activley being used in control centres across more than 39 countries and are making an important contribution to international safety. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ever-developing industry and organisation.  

• Located in St Kilda- flexible work arrangements
• Contracting and Permanent opportunities
• Need to be an Australian Citizen- ability to obtain defence clearance

 
To be successful in this opportunity, some of the responsibilities required include:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or relevant work experience
• 5 years’ experience as software Engineer
• Demonstratable experience in C++
• In depth knowledge of the full software development life cycle
• Solid communication in both written and verbal

 
What you will be doing:

• Working on the full software development life cycle
• Updating estimates of the development task in a task management tool
• Coordinate and collaborate with domain specialist to maximise benefits within the organisation
• Responsible for providing feedback to process improvement and suggest technology change where identified
• Working in accordance with quality management system and safety management system
