Network Engineer

The Role:

The Network Engineer will be a part of a large team consisting of highly skilled and disciplined personnel, responsible for the implementation of a large multi-environment network solution. You will have the skills to plan, implement and oversee the computer networks that support in house technologies, and user interface. You will also be responsible for developing a high availability, reliable network infrastructure with the ability to troubleshoot issues. You will hold a strong aptitude with both virtual and physical network design and have familiarity with industry standard vendor technologies as well as Federal Government security requirements (ISM/PSPF etc).

Skills & Experience:

• Design and deploy network solutions – CISCO focused
• Design and deploy firewall technologies
• Skills in LAN/WAN and SDWAN networking
• Experience with cloud infrastructure highly desirable
• Network troubleshooting and sustainment  
• A detailed knowledge of DNS and DHCP
• Stakeholder engagement – internal and external
• Australian Citizen – NV1 AGSVA clearance or above
• Mentored and supported junior team members
