Software Tester

Emanate Technology have partnered with a mid-sized Fed Government to support a crucial Software Testing position, working across a mutli-year application development program looking to protect the biosecurity of our nation. This role would require an experienced software tester that has multiple years experience working with Web or mobile applications, testing the software usability. The responsbilities of this role would be to review software requirements and prepare test scenarios, interact with clients to understand product requirements and work alongside subject matter experts to produce a high quality product to service the Department.
 

• 6-month initial contract with 12mth extension
• Australian Citizenship minimum, must be able to obtain NV1 clearance
• Canberra location, flexible working conditions on offer

To be successful in this position, a prior experience in the following would be required:

• Must have 3+ years in testing Web and/or Mobile Applications
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the software testing process
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with manual focused tester, with good knowledge of automated testing
