A mid-sized Federal Government department, currently undergoing a digital transformation program is on the lookout for an experienced solutions developer to assist in supporting and implementing new business solutions. The transformation program is looking to deliver greenfield services across cloud platforms, such as Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365 and bespoke web apps. This role will be tasked in working within a multi-discplinary team to deliver solutions based on clients requests using agile methodologies. The successful solution developer will be working in a team of talented developers, closely working alongside a team of solutions architects, business analysts and delivery manager to build technical capability to a high standard.

The successful Solutions developer will be responsible for providing Dynamics CRM specific recommendation, undertake software development with a particular focus on Dynamics CRM, perform system analysis, investigate technical problems and document relevant issues, liaise with business users and project stakeholders on technical and non-technical matters as required and work closely with team members and contribute to team process and skill improvements

Contract details:

  • 6mth contract with 12-mth extensions
  • Ability to work in any off the Departments offices in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, Offsite
  • Hybrid working arrangements available
  • Australian Citizenship minimum mandatory

To be successful in this position, a prior experience in the following criteria would be required:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions developer using modern Microsoft products and cloud platforms including Microsoft .NET Core. C#, javascript and typescript
  • Demonstrated experience with the following development technologies: Experience in configuration and customization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 , Experience in D365 Customer Engagement , especially Customer Service , Experience in extending and automating D365
  • Power automate, business process flows, business rules
  • Javascript, plugins
  • Functions apps/Logic apps/Canvas apps
  • Consuming Web APIs
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in: Problem solving and troubleshooting, Communication at the technical, business and personal levels (both written & verbal)
  • Experience working in a team or organisation using agile principles, practices or frameworks (i.e. Scrum)
