Software Developer DataStage COGNOS

Emanate Technology are seeking an experienced IT Professional to take on a lucrative State Government contract.

Sitting within a major government department you will be supporting: 

• The maintenance, support, and life-cycling activities for the corporate DataStage and COGNOS platforms.
• The migration of DataStage workloads and COGNOS reports to cloud technologies and platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• An Agile Scrum team working through the backlog of requests from the various Department business areas

Specific skills requirments :

• Strong knowledge of DataStage 8.7 or later
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of the Cognos Analytics
• Enterprise BI solution design, implementation and BAU activities.
• RDBMS (Oracle & SQL Server), Strong Analytic skills
• Data Modelling, Advanced SQL, Control-M and Unix Scripting
• Knowledge of incident management and change management
• Produce designs for application changes and implement the changes

• Migration of DataStage workloads and COGNOS reports to cloud technologies
