Job Details
A small to mid-sized Federal Government Agency is seeking an experienced and dedicated Technical Team Lead to join their ICT division on a major system transformation project, expecting to run for the next 3 years. This role is an exciting opportunity for a senior candidate with full stack java experience to manage application development teams and assist with over system design.
This opportunity would suit a candidate with several years experience as a senior developer/technical lead, managing teams, assisting with solution architecture, engaging with business stakeholders and solving problems with high quality software solutions.
Contract Details:
- 12-month contract with 12 months extension
- Location either ACT or Sydney
- Australian Citizenship mandatory, NV1 highly desirable
If you are interested in the role, experience in the following would be required:
- demonstrated success in full stack Java implementations using message bus implementations
- ability to collaborate with business subject matter experts and various Engineering and Technology teams to collect requirements and define, design, develop, test, and support applications
- strong understanding & knowledge of development concepts and implementation experience with message buses, especially Kafka
- ability to support end-to-end functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) experience of applications
- ability to provide strategic thinking, solutions and roadmaps while driving enterprise recommendations while ensuring adherence to standards and establish standards where they may not yet exist
- demonstrated understanding of both the business process(es) and the technical application of the Framework(s) with which they’re involved
- ability to ensure that systems are built for change, are reusable, and maintainable.
- 5+ years of experience working on software development projects
