JOB DESCRIPTION

Your New Role

We’re looking for experienced ILS Practitioners to join our growing Defence Mission Systems Engineering Matrix.  In this role you will work within a team who have responsibility for the planning, identification and development of all the support system requirements for a complex military system.  You’ll have the opportunity to work on a ‘first of its kind’ program in Australia, partnering with international subject matter experts in the ILS field.  This is an acquisition project with a view to Through Life Support contract.

It will include:

  • Logistics Support Analysis including reliability, maintainability, spares and simulation analysis;
  • Managing packages of technical work for stand-alone products and integrated systems;
  • Developing ASDEFCON plans, logistic instructions, and support solutions;
  • Delivering technical publications using DEF(AUST)5629C, or 5630.

About You and What You’ll Bring

We are seeking ILS Practitioners from a range of industry sectors and backgrounds. An engineering qualification with a focus on through life support and support systems or three plus years of experience within Defence logistics and equipment management positions is desirable.

Experience with Defence ICT projects would be ideal and exposure to ASDEFCON, TRAMML, LMSM, and Land based programs would be highly beneficial.

Please note due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian citizens and willing to obtain and hold an Australian Government security clearance.
