A small to mid-sized Federal Government entity is seeking multiple testers to join a large program re-developing a complex CRM system supporting over 10,000 organisations. These testers would be joining a small specialised ICT testing unit based in Canberra, looking to support the testing capability of the entire re-development.

The testers wil be responsible for creating test plans, prepare test documentation including test data and test cases, create and maintain re-usable regression/ end to end test cases, work with business analysts to ensure the acceptance criteria provided are well understood and can be translated to test cases, raise defects and collaboratively work with the development team to ensure the resolution of defects.

  • 11-month contract with 12-month contract extension
  • Remote working preferred, with periodic visits to Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne.
  • Must be able to obtain baseline clearance

To be successful in this opportunity, a background in the following criteria would be required:

  • Demonstrated experience using Azure DevOps to create and manage test plans, test cases and tasks associated with raising and resolving defects.
  • Highly developed testing skills including the ability to write, review and execute test cases based on acceptance criteria or scenarios defined in user stories.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members
  • Testing experience on Dynamics and CRM projects.
