17 Jun User experience (UX) Researcher & Designer (Data and Analytics)
We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher & Designer to support delivery of the agencies Data Strategy through the implementation of data action projects and supporting ad-hoc requests. The role will identify user problems and needs and assist with the design of data products such as Microsoft PowerBI reports and dashboards that enhance the use of the data and provide end users with accessible and actionable insights. The role will also work with the team to adopt and embed best practice user experience research and design into the data analytics project lifecycle. As the UX Researcher & Designer, the occupant of this position is expected to:
- Conduct user experience research applying relevant qualitative and quantitative methodologies to inform design, development and delivery of analytics solutions and/or data products
- Synthesise and document user requirements including personas and user stories to outline key user features for analytics solutions and/or data products
- Produce UX design assets such as wireframes and prototypes to visualise key user data product features and validate with stakeholders
- Work with a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to produce timely, relevant, and reliable insights that are fit-for-purpose to inform the performance reporting and regulatory decision making Full details of the role are provided in the attached Position Profile.
Estimated start date: Monday, 25 July 2022
Initial contract duration: 12 months. Contract extensions as required by ACMA.
Location of work: ACT
Working arrangements: ACMA has Hybrid working arrangements in place. This is to be negotiated with your supervisor once onboarding completed.
