Our client has a requirement for a specialist with a wide-ranging knowledge and skillset covering information and records management, and generalist business analyst skills, including:
• Developing agency Records Authorities, and records or information frameworks, policies, and procedures
• Requirements gathering and writing business, functional and non-functional requirements, and detailed user stories for developers for a range of business systems
• Providing professional records/information/IT system advice based on systems knowledge, policy and/or legislation
• Writing a wide-range of documents, including board papers, issues and options papers, project-related documentation (e.g. briefs, plans, reports), procurement-related documentation
• Providing team, project, secretariat, and other generalist support

The prefred candidate will have skills in the folowing: 
1.
In-depth business analysis experience particularly through engaging with non-technical stakeholders and understanding user needs; and in requirements gathering and writing business, functional and non-functional requirements, and detailed user stories for developers for a range of business systems
2.
Highly developed project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, manage competing priorities and adhere to strict deadlines to achieve results in a high pressure environment and writing project-related documentation (e.g. briefs, plans, reports)
3.
Well-developed communication skills including: * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills * Negotiation and liaison skills * Demonstrated experience in conducting workshops with business users * Presentation skills
4.
In-depth experience in: • Developing agency Records Authorities • Developing records or information management frameworks, policies and procedures • Providing professional records/information/IT system advice based on systems knowledge, policy and/or legislation
5.
• Tertiary qualifications, or commensurate professional experience in Records Management, Information Management, Knowledge Management, Archives Management or a related discipline
