Our client & The role:

Our client are a leading Australian MSP that specialises in providing IT services to the medical industry. They currently have a team of 20 people and due to continued growth over the past 2 years, they are looking for a level 1 support technician to join their team.

As a level 1 technician, the most important aspect is the ability to communicate effectively. If you enjoy providing exceptional customer service, working with your clients to understand their problems and find solutions, this could be the role for you.

Of course this role is in the IT sector, so the ideal person would have at least 6-12 months experience working as a helpdesk officer in an MSP environment. However if you have any practical IT experience, then I am still keen to chat with you! You will provide phone & on site support to medical clients across Brisbane. So you MUST have a drivers licence, car and be based in Brisbane to travel to client sites.

About you:

  • Having excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Previous experience providing Helpdesk/Desktop support (Level 1+)
  • Experience and knowledge supporting Windows Desktop environments (Windows Desktops/Windows Server) including:
  • Active directory/domain management, provisioning
  • Windows file shares, permissions, security
  • Group Policy creation and management
  • Printer management
  • Office 365 Management
  • Domain/DNS Management
