21 May Behind the Scenes with the Emanate Team: Our Remote Working Experience
With COVID-19 restrictions easing across Australia, I thought I’d use this opportunity to take you behind the scenes with the Emanate Technology team and discuss our experience, the latest updates and how we’ve adapted to remote working over the past eight weeks.
Remote, but full speed
Although working from home full-time wasn’t part of our business plan for 2020, it has proved to be surprisingly effective.
We have adapted well to remote working and have ensured everyone was well equipped to work outside our office environment with virtual meeting software and tools that have enabled us to work effectively with each other and our clients.
I am proud of every member of our team for the way they have stepped up to the challenge. We’ve struck a balance between staying connected with our people through regular video conferences and allowing them the freedom to manage work in their own time.
Meanwhile, we have rolled out a series of training programs to upskill our consultants, and two people have even been promoted to full 360-degree recruitment roles during this period. This is a testimony both to their hard work and our commitment to strengthening our business, and it has been great to see the team remain focused on their growth and development in spite of the circumstances.

Regardless of where our team is located or how they are working, we are fully operational and continue to be here to support and guide you through this challenging time to the new normal.
We are following government advice on a return to the workplace and, with schools set to fully reopen on 25 May, are preparing to gradually phase people back into the office.
