The Opportunity:
My client a leading Melbourne Design & Architecture organisation is seeking a new National IT Manager. The succesful applicant will provide Leadership & Technical Expertise in managing a portfolio of Systems and Infrastructure, in addition to this you will also be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all IT services across the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane studios whilst managing a small team of IT professioanls. Any experience with Revit or BIM will be seen as highly favourable but is not necessarily an essential requirement.

The Role:

  • Manage the IT team to ensure strong customer service delivery
  • Develop and implement an IT strategy/roadmap in accordance with the company’s overall goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals
  • Ensure the security and reliability of company systems, including cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery plans
  • Manage the IT budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimization
  • Review existing processes and technology to improve efficiency and performance
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems

Key Requirements & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of at least 5 IT professionals
  • Hands on experience with VMWare, MS Stack, Windows, Networking, MS Stack, Cloud-based Servers (Azure & AWS), Storage, Security and Compliance would be preferred
  • Well developed time management and organizational skills
  • Accomplished interpersonal skills with proven ability to promote and influence technology
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing IT projects effectively
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing budgets
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
